Students from the Department of Child Development participated with their academic studies in the “Women and Family Graduate Student Congress,” organized by Hitit University on December 11–12, 2025. Under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ayhan Babaroğlu, Melisa Buse Kelsaka presented her paper entitled “Does the Female Bird Build the Nest? Women in the Context of Gender, Family, and Development.” Another student from the same department, Zehra Poyraz, shared her study titled “Child Development from the Perspective of Parental Relationships” with the participants.
The presented papers contributed to academic discussions by offering an interdisciplinary perspective on gender, family structure, and child development.
We would like to thank our faculty member and our dear students for their contributions to the field and wish them continued success.
